Profile
Dr. Fiona Höbler is an Assistant Professor in the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders and a member of the 深夜福利站 Centre for Brain & Mind and 深夜福利站 Institute for Neuroscience. She is also a faculty member of the Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and Applied Health Sciences graduate programs. Before joining 深夜福利站 in 2025, Fiona completed her PhD in Speech-Language Pathology and Neuroscience at the University of Toronto and her postdoctoral fellowship at Michigan Medicine, University of Michigan. Fiona’s research is focused on the neurocognitive and neurophysiological processes that support speech production and motor learning across the lifespan, with particular interest in how these influence the experience of developmental stuttering and its treatment.
