Martin Stillman was awarded the Linstead Prize of the Society for Porphyrins and Phthalocyanines for his cumulative research into the tetrapyrroles that are the structural foundation for porphyrins in heme proteins, the chlorins in chlorophyll, and the corrins in cobalamins (vitamin B12).聽

Professor Guthrie was an award-winning Professor of Chemistry in our department from 1969-2010 after which he became a Professor Emeritus.聽 Peter loved chemistry! He especially liked visiting lectures, conferences, and presentations from graduate students. He would be honoured to know that this award is helping the following individuals attend and present work at a conference and he would want them to participate fully and challenge others to think deeply about their work.聽
