Research

I am a specialist in Canadian literary studies and in contemporary Popular Culture studies (specifically crime fiction, film and television). In Canadian literary studies, I have published on writing from the early nineteenth century to contemporary writing, and spanning poetry fiction, drama, and autobiography. I supervise graduate students working in the following fields: Canadian literature, Crime Fiction and Film, Literary Collaboration, Border Studies.
