Admission Requirements

Completion of first-year requirements, including 1.0 Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies courses at the 1000 level (either  or 1.0 course from     the former GSWS 1023F/G, the former GSWS 1030F/G) with a mark of at least 60%, or permission of the Department.

Note: Students beginning a module in Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies after first year may substitute  in place of the 1.0 first-year course requirement and take it concurrently with their second-year courses.

1.0 course:  or  or the former GSWS 2230F/G and .
1.5 courses from:     or the former GSWS 3420F/G.
1.5 additional courses in GSWS or Black Studies at the 2000 level or above.

A student may apply to the Department for approval to substitute 1.0 course from another department provided that the course is relevant to the student's Minor in Feminist, Queer, and Critical Race Theory.
