- Provides leadership for designing strategies and initiatives for supporting research faculty across funding programs; from implementing internal funding opportunities to overseeing grant support for external agencies and foundations within Canada, the United States and globally
- Responsible for administrative oversight on pre-award compliance and funded award non-financial compliance with federal, provincial, international guidelines and regulations; ensures their translation into institutional policies, systems and procedures
- Determines and oversees implementation of best practices for grant life-cycle management, including support and education for research community
- Provides oversight for 深夜福利站’s grant management systems, processing of grant applications, file maintenance and retention procedures

- Responsible for the effective administration of 深夜福利站’s suite of internal grant funding opportunities, including Faculty Research Development Fund (FRDF) and SSHRC Institutional Grants
- Implements and supports internal research competitions, such as 深夜福利站 Strategic Support, SSHRC Explore and Exchange, Postdoctoral Fellowship Program and 深夜福利站 Research Chairs
- Provides assistance to faculty and staff on application guidelines and submissions, organizes adjudication committees and works with faculty to report on outcomes and evaluate the impact of internal funding programs

- Provides access and support to clients using 深夜福利站’s grant management system (ROLA) through the ROLA Helpdesk
- Maintains the listing of sponsored funding opportunities on the ROLA funding opportunities page, for internal and external programs
- Responsible for maintaining the integrity of data housed within ROLA and electronic file management
- Assists with providing institutional and indicator reporting, and indirect cost distribution models

- Interprets funding sponsors guidelines and requirements to provide clarity and guidance on application processes and submission portals, resulting in successful application submissions.
- Responsible for comprehensive grant application administrative reviews to ensure all proposals comply with 深夜福利站’s institutional policies and compliance regulations; recommending applications for institutional approval and submission to external funders.
- Initiates awards in the ROLA system upon receipt of a Notice of Award (NOA).
- Facilitates non-financial post-award grant amendment requests on behalf of researchers (e.g. leaves, grant transfers to 深夜福利站, etc.).
