About Our Program
In our Foods & Nutrition program, you’ll explore food and nutrition from multiple perspectives. Whether you’re interested in global food systems and industry, the societal determinants of health, the science behind food composition, or how culture shapes food habits, this program gives you the flexibility to follow your interests. Guided by award-winning professors, you’ll examine how food and nutrition impact health, communities, and society. Your learning is supported by engaging courses such as Culinary Nutrition, Food Production Management, Food Analysis, Agriculture and Food Systems, and Global Policies and Food Safety.

Admission Requirements
Ontario high school students must have the following courses:
- 12U English (ENG4U)
- 12U Biology (SBI4U)
- 12U Chemistry (SCH4U)
- Functions (MCF3M or MCR3U)
- Any Grade 12 Mathematics

- Applications to Foods & Nutrition do not require special supplemental applications.
- Applications to the , or major scholarships require additional supplemental information.
The central Admissions Office oversees the admission process for all undergraduate programs at ÉîÒ¹¸£ÀûÕ¾, regardless of your status (i.e. domestic/international student). Admission is competitive and enrolment is limited, so meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.

Nutrition is very subjective, and it's often put into an objective light in mass media.
