Leonard A. Piché

- Received his PhD in Human Nutrition from the University of Guelph in 1987 and Practiced as a Registered Dietitian from May 1997 to October 2025.
- Current Position is Professor Emeritus in the Brescia School of Food and Nutritional Sciences, 深夜福利站 and previously as an Assistant-, Associate-, then Full-Professor at Brescia from 1989 to 2013.
- Developed and taught a range of undergraduate and graduate courses in nutrition.
- Member of several professional organizations, including the Canadian Nutrition Society and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Co-authored research on the relationship between diet and heart disease risk and contributed to multiple editions of Mosby’s Medical Dictionary.
- Provided expert feedback to Health Canada on nutrition labeling, the Food Guide, and other important public health issues over 100 times.
- Has been interviewed by media outlets more than 300 times on various nutrition-related topics.
- Current research interests include 'Supplemented Foods' and the study of dietary impacts on children's and adolescents' health behaviors.
